New Series: Minnie & Daisy ~ Best Friends Forever!

Have you ever wondered what Minnie and Daisy’s lives were like before Mickey and Donald?  Minnie and Daisy were friends long before they met their dashing duck and magical mouse, and they went through all the trials and tribulations of growing up just like all girls do.

They also now have a FUN new series of chapter books for preteen girls. There are the usual boy crazy kids (all cartoon characters of course) with the usual events in their little lives. When Daisy gets the part of Juliet which Minnie had been planning on trying out for - or Daisy wants to earn money to purchase her own surfboard will their friendship stand up to the test in front of them?

Minnie and Daisy's new series is very appealing to girls 8 and up. The pages are colorful and filled with "snapshots" of their lives. There are segments of text that highlighted in different colors so the words stand out and the situations in the story match most of what your girls are going through. I loved how Daisy is the sports minded character (and she is definitely a character) and Minnie is the creative one. She loves to sew, bake, babysits and wants to help her friends. The little arguments they get into are reminiscent of the little arguments all girls get into during 5th-7th grades ~ but their methods of making up can help your girls learn how to build and strengthen their relationships with their friends.

.... and there will be 2 additional books will be coming out in July.
Another new surprise from Daisy & Minnie is their new magazine! My little 8 year old daycare girl snapped these up right away... your girls will read about friendship, do crafts, learn about their favorite music, play games and take quizzes. There are posters & comics included and Hailey connected with the magazine right away ~ you can find this great magazine @ major retail outlets for $4.99 nationwide.

This series & the magazine would make a great birthday present and it would be fun to find them in their Christmas Stockings this year.

It's a Giveaway!

I am giving away a copy of both books & the magazine to one very lucky reader on CCB! Each giveaway that I host requires your full contact information - name, address, phone # & email listed. No one but me and my contact sees the winners information and no one else's information is even looked at (even by me). So, please be sure to share the information....

Note: I left a link on the rafflecopter entries with this posts hyperlink - hopefully it will work to come back here and post blog comments if instructed to do so. Keepin' my fingers crossed.

  2. Oops misread the question! Well then, I'd spend it on my sis and bros. I'd buy my sister books for learning (I'd have to have her look so she could pick) and manga for my brothers :)

  3. I'd have to get 5 Minute Princess Stories (http://disney.go.com/books/5-minute-princess-stories) for my niece. And of course 5 minute Pixar stories (http://disney.go.com/books/5-minute-disney-pixar-stories) for her little brother. I'd probably let my other two nephews pick out what they wanted since they're older and I'm not sure what they might be into.
